The Ohio Nurses Association represents the interests of more than 153,000 registered nurses in Ohio. The organization is a constituent member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), and is affiliated with the ANA's Ohio Nurses Association (ONA). The ONA is governed by a Board of Directors, which consists of the officers of the organization and representatives from each of the ONA's nine districts. The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the direction of the organization and for overseeing its operation. The ONA is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
